About Relay Solutions

Applied AI built around the people who know the work.

Relay Solutions designs and builds human-reviewed applied-AI workflows for growing companies. Relay works with the people who know the operation, builds one important system alongside them and transfers the knowledge and control required to run it after handoff.

Founder

Sara Ward

Relay was founded by Sara Ward after more than a decade inside ecommerce, lifecycle marketing, merchandising, creative operations and content production.

As Creative Manager at Touch of Modern, she led website, email, SMS, app push, merchandising and campaign execution for an audience of nearly six million subscribers. Working inside the operation showed her where growing companies lose time: fragmented platforms, manual handoffs, inconsistent information and critical processes that live in one person’s head.

She began building internal applications, browser automations, AI-assisted production systems and quality-control workflows to close those gaps. Relay brings that combination of operational judgment and technical execution to other product-driven companies.

  • Firsthand product and commerce operations
  • Cross-functional production experience
  • Technical implementation capability
  • Adoption and ownership built into delivery
Relay’s operating principles

Specific work. Visible controls. Client ownership.

Start with one expensive workflow

Choose a bounded process with real operational cost, accountable owners and a clear destination.

Keep expertise in the system

Encode standards and exceptions while retaining human approval where a decision carries risk.

Build working implementations

Deliver interfaces, integrations, validation and operating documentation, not a strategy deck alone.

Transfer capability

Train the people who will use and own the workflow so the client can operate and improve it.

Start a conversation

Bring one workflow that keeps breaking.

Relay will tell you whether it is a strong fit. If it is not, we will say so.
